I first found padel in 2012 when it arrived in my home club David Lloyd Chigwell.
Although I did not take an instant interest, I started playing casually but I soon stopped as school sport kept interrupting! I have never been a natural racket sports player , spending a lot of my childhood time playing competitive football, at national level, against current premier league stars and also previously training with a Balon D'Or nominee.
I then started playing competitive padel in January 2017, (quite a while after I first saw padel) playing in the majority of the tournaments throughout the year to improve as fast as I could. I was really enjoying padel and I wanted to travel for some tournaments; my first being Guernsey in July of 2018 where I lost to the current number 1 seeds in the semi finals. Being unranked in July 2018 to currently being ranked 6 in the UK is a progression that I hope continues.
