East Glos Club

Based near central Cheltenham, East Glos is a fun, sociable multi-sports club for all ages and abilities.

The club offers six sports: tennis, padel, squash, racketball, pickleball, and table tennis. Members can enjoy all the clubs sports for a single subscription.

East Glos has seven padel courts — six floodlit doubles and a singles court. The latter is designed to help padel players improve their shots and stamina, while having fun or challenging a friend.

The padel section is thriving, with the first three courts having opened in 2021. Members can enjoy social play sessions, padel ladders and improve their skills with the clubs coaching team. Junior and adult members alike are now competing in national and international events.

Padel is also accessible to the wider Cheltenham community, offering a pay-and-play option.

Members can also enjoy tennis on the clubs 26 courts, which span four surfaces, 17 of which are floodlit.

There is also a sociable squash and racketball section with four courts, two of which are glass-backed, and lights are free.

East Glos has recently introduced pickleball, a fun and low-impact social sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.

Table tennis is also available with popular social mornings and bookable sessions during the week.
