The Bourne Club

The Bourne Club is a members’ owned rackets club that also provides bridge, a gym, table tennis and an active social calendar for its members. The club is located just outside the historical market town of Farnham and occupies a prime location in the heart of the Bourne district where it has been providing racquets facilities since the 1920s.

The rackets sections offer club nights, internal leagues and coaching programmes for all levels of play and for all ages. Each sport enjoys a high profile in the local and county leagues and members who play at social, county, national and international level. We offer excellent sports facilities, with on-line booking system, including:

• Five floodlit multi-surface tennis courts and one indoor tennis court
• Floodlit padel court
• Winter ‘Bubble’ for two outdoor courts
• Five badminton courts
• Four squash courts

It is a friendly club with an informal atmosphere offering a wide range of facilities for families and members. There is a large lounge with a bar and catering facilities and a large screen television for major sporting and social events, encouraging members to ‘play and stay’.

The club bar and lounge, accompanied by our spacious hall, makes an excellent venue for all kinds of social functions. Our caterers can provide a variety of food options to complement your party and our friendly professional approach will ensure that your requirements are catered for in full whether you are considering a wedding reception, birthday party or family gathering.

Padel

The Bourne Club is delighted to announce the addition of Padel alongside the more familiar racket sports of tennis, squash, racketball and badminton. Padel will be bookable by all Platinum, Gold, Silver & Bronze memberships. Padel will be included in Young Junior & Junior all Sports memberships, however U14 must be accompanied by an adult. Pay & Play will be available at any time in either 60 or 90 minute sessions.

The court, manufactured and installed by Pro Padel Courts is the first padel court made in the UK. It is panoramic so the back walls are all glass for great viewing and playing.

James Cooles will be heading up the padel coaching at the club. James is, and will remain, part of the tennis coaching team, but will also head up the coaching side of padel for the Bourne Academy.

Drop Shot UK will be working alongside The Bourne Club, providing high class padel equipment, at reduced costs benefiting the members.
