Ipswich Sports Club

Ipswich Sports Club is the premiere sports club in East Anglia. It is owned and run by the members and provides first class sporting facilities in a friendly atmosphere. There are facilities for tennis, squash, racketball and hockey as well as a well appointed gym and studio. All sporting abilities are catered for – junior, adult and senior – from novice to international player. The Club has a friendly bar and function room, supported by excellent catering facilities, and is set within pleasant grounds with ample parking. Additional services onsite include a creche, pro shop, physiotherapist and hairdresser ensuring that Ipswich Sports Club can provide the complete recreational package.

Padel

Lights, camera – it’s been all action at Ipswich Sports Club this week with the opening of a Game4Padel pop-up court at the Henley Road site. Planning will now be sought for four canopy-covered courts at the Club’s Tuddenham Road site – set to become the largest covered multi-court padel venue in East Anglia.

Head Tennis Coach at Ipswich Sports Club, Chris Daynes, has reported a fantastic response to the court from members across all the other racket sports and from many players trying a racket sport for the first time and getting hooked!

James Rose, G4P’s National Development Manager, has been bowled over by the enthusiasm and support from all the Heads of Sports at the Club. Roll on their permanent courts!
