Established in 1880, Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash club is situated in the Wharfe valley with panoramic views of Ilkley’s famous moor. Arguably the most picturesque sporting venue around. Boasting top class facilities & experienced and welcoming staff, ILTSC provides a social and supportive community for its members.

Since the day the doors first opened, Ilkley Tennis Club has continued to grow and develop to become the multi-purpose sports venue that it is today comprising of numerous Indoor and outdoor Tennis Courts, squash courts, a state of the art gym and a Bar/Café serving fresh food and Drink. Whilst still maintaining the values and history of the 80’s and having top class tennis facilities at the heart, the progressions made by the club ensure new opportunities will evolve for future generations.

Set in motion in 2015, a Masterplan began with the redevelopment of the gym and fitness studios to produce the modern clubhouse extension that you see today. Fast forward 8 years and the latest stage in the Masterplan is now up and running in the form of a brand new Padel court. ILTSC will be hosting regular open days and coaching sessions to allow everyone the opportunity to give Padel a go and learn the simplicity and enjoyment of the game! After proving hugely success in clubs across the country, the hope is that plenty will continue to play and develop their game over the coming years. The club is putting plans in motion for further courts in the future.

Following its re-opening in 2021 post-pandemic, Ilkley Tennis Club has gradually seen its membership returning to pre-pandemic levels. This is echoed in the busy hustle and bustle of the club with members now having access to a wide variety of activities, whether that’s tennis or squash, fitness classes or gym workouts, and now Padel!

Situated on the Dalesway, the clubhouse also welcomes the footfall of regular walkers into its café bar to enjoy the wide selection of drinks and seasonal lite bites. ILTSC is continuing to welcome new members each day. With monthly and annual options, choose from a rackets, fitness or full membership to meet your needs. All age groups and abilities are welcomed at this fantastic local sporting venue.
