I first played Padél in Marbella in 1979. In 1982 I worked in Spain as a tennis coach playing regular Padél. In 1992 I was part of the GB team that finished 4th in the first ever World Championships held in Madrid. I then only played the odd game of Padél on holiday until last year 2018 when we opened the first 2 covered courts in the North of England. I went on the British coaching course and currently play and coach Padél 6 days a week. This year I have started competing again and hopefully will be playing in more events in 2020.
