Oli has been playing tennis since the age of 5 and was selected as a county player at the age of 8. He was at a high standard. Back in February 2020, he tried out padel at Brentwood hard court club at an open day. He picked it up very easily by using his racket skills he had acquired from tennis and decided he wanted to start playing padel. Oli got into contact with GoPadel, and decided to have a weekly 1 on 1 lesson with Coach Dan Troy before the first lockdown in march 2020. He was frustrated that he didn't have a bat so he contacted EverythingPadel, who got him a bat for his birthday in June, just in time for the re-opening of the club he was playing at. He began having weekly 1 on 1 sessions and playing in tournaments! He trains with all the other juniors weekly and is getting better and better. For Christmas of 2020, Oli got himself an even higher-level racket, one of the top adidas rackets. He wants to keep pushing himself and make sure that he is playing the best he possibly can. Since then, Oli has fallen in love with padel and is part of the Go Padel junior academy which is one of the biggest in the UK, he has big dreams that he wants to achieve in the sport and has a huge potential given that he is only 10 years old.
