Tennis World in Middlesbrough have installed two first class Padel Tech Redsport padel courts and created the new Middlesbrough Padel Club as part of an impressive overall £400,000 renovation, including tennis courts and clubhouse facilities. Midllesbrough Padel Club offer the only covered, floodlit padel courts between Edinburgh to the north, Manchester to the west and Huddersfield to the south.

Tennis World head coach and director of operations Nigel Garton said: “Our recent investments mean we can now provide Teesside and the wider region with high quality tennis facilities whilst being the first club in the North-East to launch padel, which is an exciting, truly accessible sport."

Middlesbrough Padel Club does not have a membership fee and padel is available to anyone who wants to come down and give it a try on a pay and play basis.
